Heraeus Kulzer Undergraduate Essay Prize
The prize is awarded annually for the best essay on a topic choosen by the President.
The British Society for the Study of Prosthetic Dentistry, in association with Heraeus Kulzer Ltd., offers an annual prize to be awarded to an undergraduate student for an essay in the field of Prosthodontics. The prize will take the form of a cash award of £250 together with a certificate. The winner of the prize will be invited to the Annual Conference as the Society's guest.

A candidate should not possess a dental qualification and no individual may win the award more than once. Award of the prize will be made by the officers of the Society on the recommendation of a panel of assessors appointed for this purpose. The Society may withhold the award if it is considered that entries are not of sufficient merit.
Entry forms should be returned to the Awards Administrator at least two weeks before the essay deadline.
The essay should be typewritten, must not exceed 4,000 words and, together with any relevant drawings, photographs or radiographs, should be submitted to the Awards Administrator before Thursday 28th January 2010. The format of the essay should conform to the guidelines for manuscripts published in the International Journal of Prosthodontics.
