Annual Conference 2019

"Managing the heavily restored dentition - profitability, patient expectations and reality?"

Friday 15th March and Saturday 16th March 2019

The conference venue is the iconic Royal College of Physicians in Regents Park, London. Situated on the east entrance of Regent's Park with easy access to central London, the RCP Grade I listed HQ houses a museum, library, seminar and lecture halls, meeting rooms, curated gardens and banquet suite.

If you are arriving by train the nearest stations to the RCP are Euston (11 mins); Marylebone (20 mins); King's Cross and St Pancras International (25 mins).

If you are travelling to the RCP via the underground, the nearest tube stations are Regent's Park (Bakerloo line; 4mins); Great Portland Street (Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines; 4mins); Warren Street (Victoria and Northern lines; 8mins).

We have already confirmed that Professor Terry Donovan from Chapel Hill, South Carolina will be the keynote speaker. Home speakers already booked include Shakeel Shahdad, Peter Briggs, Finlay Sutton, Simon Stone and Amitha Renauta.

We intend to have a panel of experts to discuss cases as part of the conference which will continue our inclusive and interactive promotion of prosthodontics to all levels of practitioners. Peter Briggs and Phil Taylor are for the third year presenting Masterclass presentations for the BDA on behalf of the society which this year links with the topic for the 2019 conference. We hope to integrate that venture with a hands on session for delegates as an additional attraction to the main conference.

We look forward to seeing you in 2019. Further information, booking and abstract submissions will be available here from late Autumn 2018.
