Early Practitioner's Group Mock Viva Day

When is it:

• Friday 1st August 2025
• Registration at 08:30
• Start at 09:00 
• Finish at 17:00

• University of Birmingham, School of Dentistry, 5 Mill Pool Way, Birmingham, B5 7EG

Who is it for:

• Trainees who are sitting ISFE Restorative Dentistry or Membership in Prosthodontics within the next 12 months.
• If you are not sitting within the next 12 months, please email admin@bsspd.org to be added to a waitlist.

Aim:

• To give attendees experience of sitting Membership in Prosthodontics and ISFE(Rest Dent) face-to-face mock clinical vivas.
• Please note that this day will not cover experience in the written part of the examinations.

Format of the day:

• Attendees will rotate in groups around 10 clinical scenarios during the day, having the opportunity to answer 2 cases themselves as well as observe others.

• Scenarios will be prosthodontic themed and may incorporate generic elements of Restorative Dentistry.

• Personalised feedback will be given after the viva, as well as an opportunity to discuss the cases.

• Lunch and refreshments will be provided to attendees
