Aims
- Discuss the aetiology, detection, diagnosis and management of erosive wear
- Understand the pathophysiology of GORD
- Understand the relationship between erosive wear and GORD
- Discuss modern methods of diagnosis and management of GORD and erosive wear

Rebecca is a Reader in Oral Clinical Research and Prosthodontics/Hon. Consultant in Restorative dentistry. After qualifying as a dentist she worked in general practice until 1995 when she joined KCL to complete her training in Prosthodontics and Restorative dentistry. She has been teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students since 1998 and has lectured nationally and internationally. She is currently the director of KCL Oral Clinical Research Unit which facilitates commercial and non-commercial clinical research within the Institute and in dental practice.
