Title: “Modern clinical and laboratory dental photography”

Aims and objectives:

In this webinar the rationale of dental photography will be discussed along with camera theory and photography settings, and tips for clinical and laboratory photographs.

  • Identify the effect of the different settings on the final picture.
  • Discuss the different equipment available.
  • Discuss the correct positions for photography.
  • Describe tips and tricks for enhanced photographs.


Dr Papadopoulos graduated from the Dental School of Athens in 2013 and spent several years working in the Military Hospital of Athens and private practice. In 2015 he embarked onto Prosthodontic training at Barts & The London Institute of Dentistry and was awarded his DClinDent Pros degree in 2018. He was also successful in the M Pros examination by the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is an active member of the BSSPD and has a keen interest in modern materials, dental implants, and clinical photography. Amongst his awards are the 2018 BSSPD Schottlander Oral Presentation prize and the QMUL Life Sciences Image Award.
