Title: From Wax to Workflows: Preparing Prosthodontists for Today & Tomorrow’s Practice

Aims:

  • To present the essential components of the digital workflow and give an overview of it’s applications.
  • To provide practical, real-world strategies for integrating digital and analogue workflows.
  • To inspire clinicians to proactively embrace and shape changes in the planning and delivery of their care.

Objectives: By the end of the session, delegates will:

  1. Understand the key drivers of change in prosthodontic care delivery.
  2. Recognise the essential skills and competencies prosthodontists must develop to remain digitally versatile.
  3. Explore practical, stepwise approaches to implementing digital workflows.

Learning Outcomes: By the end of the presentation, participants should be able to:

  • Identify and map at least one patient pathway in their practice that can be streamlined and augmented through digital tools.
  • Communicate effectively with labs, suppliers, and team members to support integration.

Biography:
Raj is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry and a specialist in Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry. He is based at the Eastman Dental Hospital, London. His clinical interests include the prosthodontic rehabilitation of head and neck oncology patients as well as patients with complex congenital and acquired oro-dental defects. Alongside delivering complex multidisciplinary care, Dr Dubal is an experienced examiner for multiple UK and international specialist examinations. His professional interests include digital dentistry and clinical education delivery. He is passionate about dental innovation and helping to prepare the profession for the evolving digital landscape.
