Professor Martin Ashley
Title: Hypodontia. Yesterday, today and tomorrow
Aims:
- To explain how hypodontia patients are managed by a specialist multidisciplinary team.
- To recognise the benefit of quality improvement within clinical care
- To consider how care for hypodontia patients may evolve in the future.
Objectives:
- Attendees will learn how high quality care is delivered by a specialist MDT.
- Attendees will engage with discussion around what future developments will improve hypodontia patient care.

Biography:
Martin is a Consultant and Honorary Professor in Restorative Dentistry and Oral Health in Manchester, with a clinical focus on managing patients affected by hypodontia and by cleft lip and palate.
He is the Medical Director for the University Dental Hospital of Manchester, a Board member for the Faculty of Dental Surgery at RCS England, a Senior Fellow for the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management and was chair of RD-UK for five years.
