Title: Dento-legal aspects of prosthodontics (Dental protection)  

Aims and objectives:

• Provide an overview of the dentolegal aspects of Prosthodontics
• Understand common issues raised in relation to fixed prosthodontics
• Through discussion of cases, understand the dentolegal issues relating to implant-based rehabilitations and cosmetic prosthodontic treatments.
• Understand how to manage patient expectations effectively and how to approach cases when things start to go wrong

Biography:
George qualified with honours from the University of Sheffield and moved into mixed practice where he was an educational supervisor for a number of years before taking on the role of training programme director (TPD) for the performer list validation by experience programme in South Yorkshire and the Humber. George joined Dental Protection eight years ago as an associate dentolegal adviser and now works full time as a Dentolegal Consultant and Deputy Dental Director.
