- To illustrate grafting techniques with case examples
- To outline complications of maxillofacial bone grafting

- To be able to assess patients with severely deficient alveolar bone in the planning for dental implants

- To evaluate the outcomes and complications of bone grafting

Mr Jahrad Haq is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon based in London, UK. He is qualified in medicine and dentistry and has undergone higher surgical training within the fields of facial aesthetic, trauma, oncology, oral/jaw deformity and craniofacial/skull base surgery. Further to this, he has completed craniofacial fellowships in London and in visiting the Children’s Hospital of Phildelphia.
Mr Haq has gained experience in the management of complex congenital conditions, as well as in facial reconstruction and aesthetic medicine. He enjoys working as part of the MDT including with restorative and paediatric dentists and allied surgical specialties such as ENT and Neurosurgery.
Mr Haq has presented his research internationally, has numerous publications in high impact peer reviewed journals, and is actively involved in education and training.
Mr Haq is a founding partner of Step by Step Surgery, an educational resource offering high level, hands on dissection courses in facial aesthetic, maxillofacial trauma and complex reconstructive surgery. He has undertaken charity surgical missions to Vietnam as part of Facing The World, as well as hosting international surgeons in London as part of an exchange fellowship programme.
